I agree that the president is overexposed and he should cut back on his news conferences.

Several years I said Bobby Kennedy was the last spontaneous campaigner in my lifetime…Example; he had the courage (against his campaign advisement) to stop and give a speech at a housing project in Indianapolis; just after Dr. King was killed. ..Politico insiders say that McCain didn’t even know Sarah Palin prior to picking her as VP but his staffers recommended her…., Karl Rove held George W. Bush’s hand throughout his campaign and ever word was calculated…Future campaigns because of YouTube will not feature spontaneous remarks.

Slogans, talking points changes from administration to administration…We should be able shift through the rhetoric.

What do you want..Bush speak or words on a teleprompter that are delivered in an eloquent and charismatic way? Obama has a gift and like Clinton he has a lot of input in what goes into those speeches…Obama wrote all his acceptance speeches and his inaugural speech.

I know this: Barack Obama is a very intelligent man according to his rivals, peers, and those who meet him….To me that instills confidence

  • He is a puppet. Always has been. His strings are from much higher up, way above Pelousi and Reid.

  • Were you asking that same question of President George W. Bush? He may have spent more time in the Oval Office, but that doesn't mean he wasn't himself a puppet and guided by special interest groups. If you are able to read, then you can surely see examples of that President giving new names to all sorts of things. By "Mission Accomplished" he meant "Well, we're not done yet but I think it sounds better than this does." and instead of putting food on our tables we now work hard to put food on our families.
