  • Back in April of last year, the well-known economist Thomas Sowell penned the following: "Barak Obama seems determined to repeat every disastrous mistake of the 1930's, at home and abroad. He has already repeated Herbert Hoover's policy of raising taxes on high income earners, FDR's policy of trying to micro-manage the economy and Neville Chamberlain's policy of seeking dialogues with hostile nations while downplaying the dangers they represent."

The more time goes on, the more prescient Mr. Sowell seems. The blithering idiots currently in charge are so ignorant of both economics and history as to defy belief.

  • I lost my last thread of repect for B.O. when he cancelled the return to the moon. It further proves that he has no grasp of the past whatsoever.

The 2003 tax cuts should have been the model he based his moves on. Those became beautiful numbers of success. Instead it seems he leaves a lot of good formulae under the rug.

How can we get him to go take economics 101 again?
