I recall returning Viet Nam vets stating that “Never Again” will returning veterans be treated the way Viet Nam veterans were treated.

However, the Veterans Administration is denying returning veterans that have spent less than 24 months of active service treatment, even if the veteran has combat related injuries.

A few weeks ago, Audie Murphy Veterans Hospital in San Antonio denied travel pay for veterans that travel over 50 miles to get to the hospital to pick up, their artificial legs and arms.

Routinely, veterans are being denied reimbursement cost of travel to pick up hearing aids, diabetic shoes, eyeglasses, walkers and canes.

The United States is quick to send millions of dollars in foreign aid to counties that hate us and benefits to elected officials, but we dishonor our veterans by denying them equal treatment.

“Never Again” has become “Once Again”.
