DA to begin overnight evaluation of arrests

There is a story in the Austin-American Statesman today in regards to the Travis County DA office now be assigned to work overnight with police to evaluate new felony arrests to weed out cases where the evidence is not sufficient or where the police improperly applied the law. All I can say is, WOW! I wonder what Chief Ure would think of that notion for Victoria Police Department officers? This is way beyond what Steve Tyler is asking of the officers. This is a very interesting story with many intellectual comments on the story. What say you?
