Eat Well, Help Others

I have your menu planned for the weekend. You'll eat well and at the same time help others.

On Saturday, barbecue will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Central Church of Christ, 801 E. Airline Road. It's $8 a plate and the proceeds go to help defray medical expenses for liver transplant recipient Brian Silkey.

Then on Sunday, belly up to a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Victory Christian Life Center, 1604 E. Crestwood Drive. The fundraiser for Perpetual Help Home is only $5 a plate.

So eat well this weekend, and help others in the process.
