Fun Fundraisers

I was fortunate to be able to attend the Food Bank's Sweetheart Charity Ball fundraiser on Valentine's Day and to take part last Friday in the Rotary Clubs of Victoria Knowledge Bowl benefiting the Victoria Adult Literacy Council.

What great fun these events were!

Our area nonprofits work hard to come up with fundraising ideas that are not only beneficial to the organization, but also fun for the participants.

On the horizon, to name a few, are the March 10 "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), the March 25 Red Cross Bash, the March 26 Kiwanis Riverside Ride, the April 15-17 Sneak Peek Under the Stars featuring Art & Antiques In The Garden at Devereux and the April 16 DeWitt Medical Foundation Gala.

So pick out a cause...or two or more...get your tickets or register and have a great time while helping some great organizations.
