Read/heard that the Saturday demonstration/protest from the group in Port O'Connor was asked to leave Spec's parking lot by the police after management at the store called them. Apparently, this has happened before but this is the first time they were asked to leave the lot. Then I heard that there was a subsequent protest form another group later in the day and they weren't visited by the police. Anyone know anything about this pro or con? Does anyone know if you need a permit to hold these sorts of demonstrations/protests like for a yard sale? What are the rules/regulations regarding parking lots especially those that serve multiple businesses? Lots of unanswered questions here. VA, get on the ball!
