When your top "talent" not reporter stands in an SS uniform for the cover of his book nobody with sense can consider such an organization journalist. The Obama administration election to not validate such trash by granting them an opportunity to showboat with loaded questions and half lies is valid.

Fox " so Mr Obama how long have you hated this country ?" Pres "what ?" Fox " so your refusing to answer the question ?"

Fox lead in "the President refuses to answer questions - an admission he hates freedom"

Fair and Balanced analysis.

  • edpost,

not doctoring..editing, and taking things out of context to give the illusion of the desired effect.

  • Are you going to believe your lying eyes means you've been lied to and somebody is trying to make you believe what they say, rather than what you see.

Totally appropriate to Farce News, always trying to make you believe what they say, rather than what you can observe by reading and watching C-SPAN.

  • JD
I have seen CNN,MSNBC,ABC,CBS, and NBC fact check the administration and at times they have caught the administration spokesman double talking and giving half-truths. This is not unique and neither is Fox , except for the fact that they definitely right wing.

Politicians have been fact checked by news organizations for a long long time.

  • Does it compare to lying about a "war of choice."

Chris Wallace made that video available to Glenn Beck..Chris Wallace and Ms Dunn sent their children to the same private school, and attended the event where she gave that speech.. Anita Dunn did claim that Chairman Mao and Mother Teresa were her two favorite philosophers.

Glenn Beck said that FEMA was setting up concentration camps.. Is that your credible source?

  • I personally enjoy the fact that Fox News "fact checks" the Obama Administration because none of the other news outlets are going to do it. Of course the White House and most liberals aren't going to like it because it forces them to at least pretend as if they are doing things in the open. I agree that Fox tends to editorialize the news somewhat but I don't believe they misreport the facts. I don't feel the same can be said for other news stations. It is just that the facts are not what Obama wants put out to the public. Fox has a definite lean to the right from center as MSNBC and CNN, ABC and CBS have a lean to the left from center. It all evens out. It is just that Fox is more fun to watch and does a better presentation and that is why their ratings are consistently better than the others.

  • Thanks for the advice speechfree but unlike you, I can think for myself and do not need you or someone else to tell me what to watch. I guess that I should be watching MSNBC, the Madoch show and such? Any other shows you would like to recommend, since your call yourself speechfree and oh course, you would never think about infringing on others people's right to pick or watch something else that might go against what you believe. Take a hike!!!

  • Kind of sounds like someone's a little angry at the press...Welcome to the club! Actually, you could replace "FOX" with literally any news agencies name and this would apply.

    October 19, 2009 at 8:30 p.m.

  • Speechfree loving being a liberal expressing your opinions to the world or at least a few of us. Well I think all the cable show anchors/reporters/whatever? enjoy your same views about free speech and probably free expresion including dress. Beck may dress as one but he is not one, that is important. Inside BO's closest circle are some people that have real issues not dress issues. If it bothers you that Beck dresses as a Nazi then BO's posse must drive you crazy!

  • So you think FOX is biased? Have you ever seen Katie Couric in action? Her blatant favoritism during the Clinton years wasn't even thinly-veiled but instead was open and outward -- to the point of being nauseating.

She may have changed jobs since then, but a tiger will never change its stripes.

With the mainstream media, you have to pick and choose the facts from within the maze of slanted propaganda that's thrown at the viewers on a daily basis. They choose what they want to report, when they want to report it and in what light they want to show the subject. Journalistic integrity, as a rule, is a thing of the past.

And if that's not enough, you get zealots like Michael Moore, whose lack of common sense and sheer arrogance do little to slow down his self-fulfilling agenda. And yet he's on his soap box daily and continues to spew ridiculous blather that others no doubt would have faced legal repercussions for.

  • "the arm of the Republican Party" LOL I would also repeat things this upstanding, moral woman has said. I think there are other issues the white house needs to be concerned with other than News channels!!

Dunn has been facing some criticism since she led a White House campaign last week against Fox News, slamming the top-rated network as an "arm of the Republican Party" and "opinion journalism masquerading as news."

Fox hit back this past Friday, releasing a video of Dunn speaking to high school students last June in which she lists her two "favorite political philosophers," including Communist Chinese leader Mao Tse-tung, whose draconian policies are blamed for the deaths of tens of millions of people.

  • It appears that you and Glenn Beck are in agreement, as he has gone on record a number of times stating that he is a commentator with opinions, NOT a reporter. I find it amusing that you should feature his latest book without mentioning the title, Arguing with Idiots. Obviously, he knows you.

  • The administration should have paid heed to the old adage, "you don't do battle with people who buy ink by the barrel” or in the case of Fox “an organization that lives for the next fight.”.. This food fight just increases their ratings…. The Democrats and the administration have proved that they do not need Fox, since they control congress and the executive branch; despite the negative reporting of Fox. Roger Ailes is eating this up…. The Bush administration had the right approach when it did not let their top staffers go on MSNBC…. This administration should not pick a fight with Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly because it just elevates their status and gives them what they are seeking….Ratings.

News does not have a bias; the facts are what they are…. It’s all about coverage …Fox may think that ACORN is the most important news story of the day, whereas MSNBC might think that the Senator Ensign scandal is top news of the day…. e.g. When President Obama said this country would not torture anymore, Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity continued to bring on guest that supported torture and Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow had guest that said it did not work and was unconstitutional.

Everyone should know that Fox News has a right wing slant and MSNBC has a left wing slant with their reporting but if you get all your news from cable networks, or you really that informed.

    October 19, 2009 at 10:57 a.m.

  • Fox is more unbiased than any of the alphabet news channels that praise BO.

    October 19, 2009 at 10:49 a.m.

  • I guess truth is in the eye of the beholder. I see FOX as nothing more than spin for "the other side", and you see the same for MSNBC and others you mentioned. I guess it's a toss-up.

    October 19, 2009 at 10:15 a.m.

  • our local news gives more accurate news than FOX. FOX has the facts in there somewhere, but most of what draws people to FOX is the opinion and spin. If you can learn to seperate the facts from spin, then maybe.
Facts are fair and balanced, unfortunately news stations are going for sensationalism.

    October 19, 2009 at 9:55 a.m.

  • I read this:
    http://www.newshounds.us/
I'don't watch much current events coverage during the day so I don't know what Fox does. BUT the other day they didn't cover the President's speech at TX A&M even though it was for Bush 41.
Shepard Smith is probably the closest thing to a journalist they have.

    October 19, 2009 at 9:52 a.m.

  • If u think Fox shows both sides, you are as deluded as anyone on the show. Fox is the media arm of the Republican Party and should be honest about it.

    October 19, 2009 at 9:45 a.m.

  • If you watch the mainstream media, you will never here the truth. They are all in bed with Obama. Fox gives both sides.

    October 19, 2009 at 8:56 a.m.

  • Fox is more opinion that news/facts.

    October 19, 2009 at 8:32 a.m.

  • So, in your view we should be watching what? Please give us a list of you favs. Don't say, anyone buy Fox!
