It sounds oxymoronic I know, but we often imagine corporate to look like stuffy room dividers with no windows, constant under chatter, people busy with looking busy, and hour long meetings that could be cut down 95%. However, companies do exist that don’t shove you in like cattle.

In this Inc. interview, Eric Ryan, the leader of Method, a soap creator, tells of a few examples that separate them from other employers in town. Do you want the top prospects working with you? What are some of the coolest things you have experienced like this at work? I remember when I lived in San Antonio, the head chief of Rackspace would lend out his sports car for a week to the top employee. By the way, that company also has plenty other cool things like a corporate university with a class called Beer 101.
