Good luck to area runners

There are a few people heading to the Houston Marathon this weekend. Good luck and do your best!

Remember, confessions are held at nearly all the parishes here on Saturday’s. Check your local listing. This single sacrament was a game changer in my life.

Tough Mudder

It is still on its way. If you aren’t participating, come out anyway and celebrate.

Juggling books

I have broken into multiple book mode. Here they are: Primal Blueprint, Fatherless, Covenanted Happiness, and Business Ethics in Action. What do you have on your nightstand?

I was a movie-stayer instead of a movie-goer this week. I bought Roland Joffe’s “There Be Dragons” and watched it in its entirety on my iPhone. It is a really good movie with action, suspense, depravity, and redemption. One of the main characters is St. Josemaria Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei. Civil war is a mighty scary thing. Anti-clericalism is also very wicked.

Friends and Family

Enjoy them.
