In order to immediately alleviate the economic distress of citizens; Texas should allow special permission to the Victoria area, for the development of a casino industry for 10 to 15 years. This would create construction jobs, service occupations, and supporting businesses in the area.
Victoria could then use the draw of the casino industry to increase traffic at the airport and use revenues to develop a strong aviation industry.
People that say Exelon will create jobs in Victoria, should then also be in support of casinos.
Victoria would be providing a service to all of Texas; because everyone from San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Corpus Christi, and the Valley would fly in to Gamble. This would put an end to money being flown out of Texas.
