"The apparent suicide of an eighth-grader in Johnson County is being linked to bullying."

I was reading another account of a child being bullied to death and I am sickened that mean, hurtful words have killed another vulnerable middle school child.

Between posting nasty remarks online, snickering about someone at school and making a young person's life miserable the people who caused this death should be charged with homicide.

"Sticks and stones can break your bones; but words can never hurt you" is so untrue. Hurtful words cause damage that some young people cannot handle.
