When GBRA, SARA and SAWS were going to pump our ground and river water off to San Antonio to green up their golf courses Ron Paul stood tall and opposed the Lower Guadalupe Water Supply Project!

And what did he get for it? A quick knife in the back from the Advocate editorial board!

Did anyone ever stop to think what would have happened if Ron Paul had remained silent? If Water Research Group hadn't kept the project in the spotlight of public opinion?

There would be no prospect for a nuclear plant for Victoria County! We probably wouldn't be seeing the construction of an ethanol plant!

Where was Chris Peden during all of this?
