NEA to consider full support of homosexual 'marriage' Pete Chagnon - OneNewsNow - 7/2/2009 6:00:00 AMThe co-founder of the National Education Association (NEA) Conservative Educators Caucus says the NEA will consider adoption of a resolution supporting homosexual "marriage."

"The NEA is currently holding its annual convention in San Diego, California. Educator and conservative activist Jeralee Smith called OneNewsNow from the convention to report that the executive council has approved language that will throw the full support of the NEA behind same-gender marriage, homosexual adoption, and other issues surrounding the homosexual agenda.

"They will help to overturn legislation that is discriminatory against same-sex couples," she notes. "And then there is one little bullet about [how] they will recognize that marriage has a religious connotation and it's not compatible with beliefs and values -- because of that they recognize that certain churches should not be forced to conduct same-sex marriage."

Smith says the resolution could be voted on as early as midday Friday or as late as Tuesday of next week. She points out this is not the first political issue the NEA has undertaken. The NEA gave $50 million to help elect President Obama in 2008."

This should be no surprise to anyone who has watched the NEA help to slowly destroy our education system over the last 30 years!

  • freethinker, because I have assurance in Christ Jesus I fear no man! I certainly do not fear or hate homosexuals. I happen to have firends who are homosexual. I have worked with homosexuals and the description of homophobe is just about as far from an accurate description of me as you can get!

What I do hate is sin! Especially my own! Before I preach to others I always look inward and am reminded of the deep, dark depths of my own depravity and sin!

Jesus hated sin! Of that there is no doubt. He hated it so much he sacrificed himself to save me from those very depths of dark depravity. Why? Because he loved me! Why? I have no idea!

Homosexuality is just one sin of mankind. There are indeed many! I have watched as a relatively miniscule minority of this country's population has become increasingly powerful and has worked very hard to get God out of our school systems and their agenda in.

You call yourself freethinker. An interesting moniker for someone in such bondage that he must promote an agenda that secular statistics prove is destructive and nature proves is un-natural. You aren't free. Nor are your thought processes. You are bound so tightly in chains that you literally cannot help but tear down anything Christian.

The Christian, biblical world view of our forefathers is what made this nation one of the most powerful, giving and advanced nations in the world and in the past 50 years, as we have steadily marched away from that, our power and prestige among the nations of the world has dwindled! Even secular historians have agreed on this.

No! I don't hate homosexuals! I love all homosexuals! Including you! If I did not, I would not pray for you daily. Jesus taked his children to love the sinner and hate the sin! Sadly, we tend to judge more and love less! However, THAT is the nature of sin! We all sin!

The Lord God also tasked us to judge not lest we also be judged! He further admonished us that by whatsoever measure we judge, with that SAME measure shall we also be judged! I, therefore, cannot judge you, my neighbor or anyone else!

I can only consider the sin. Not the sinner.

The word of the Lord God, in both old and new testiment calls homosexuality sin! Therefore, to me, it is indeed sin and I don't want my children or anyone elses children exposed to it. Nor do I want them exposed to the same sin I was guilty of when I lived in the world.
