15-Year-Old Missouri Girl Indicted in Murder of Neighbor, 9

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Blessed with a Friday off school, 15-year-old Alyssa Bustamante dug two holes in the ground to be used as a grave, authorities said. For the next week, she attended classes, all the while plotting the right time for a murder, they said.
That time arrived the evening of Oct. 21, when Bustamante strangled 9-year-old neighbor Elizabeth Olten without provocation, cut the girl's throat and stabbed her, prosecutors said. Why?
"Ultimately, she stated she wanted to know what it felt like," Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. David Rice testified Wednesday during a court hearing over the slaying."
When you raise a generation of children without a respect or value of human life what else can you expect? And we have now raised two! Two generations of children without a biblical world view. One can only wonder what will happen during this next great depression!
Is mankind actually devolving? I recall writing about a story in the mid eighties concerning the federal government spending thousands of dollars per animal to repopulate the black bear right up to the city limits of Boisie, Idaho! And this at a time when congress was raiding social security! I had no idea at the time what spending that money meant but now I see! We valued an animal more that the ability to support our senior citizens today!
I see government gradually putting the small farmer, rancher, meat processor and orchard owners out of business with obsessive and oppressive regulation while the nation's food supplies move farther and farther from the actual consumer! Central planning at it's best.
And it's college educated individuals versed in the worst of Malthusian eugenics running the secular progressive political engine leading this country down a road to disaster!
George "Tiller the Killer" Tiller was a college educated doctor who, in the name of "women's reproductive health," butchered literally thousands of partially born children and made a lot of money doing it! One can only wonder at the supposed Christian morals of his pastor. His spiritual leader!

I see a nation that values animals and nature to such a degree that we will leave oil and coal in the ground so we can be dependent on windmills and sunshine!
Despite the fact that this earth has been demonstrably cooling we have become so evolved(sic) that we will believe a huckster making millions on a scam like Al Gore! Have we had our common sense educated out of us?
This once greatest nation on the earth, while suffering financially from importing our oil, has now become a net food importer too? How insane is that?
Lastly, I saw a news report some weeks ago where a young college student protesting at a world economic summit stated that no one has a right to earn more than $200,000 per year! She was in college at the University of Pittsburg! One can only wonder at the credentials of the educators she was indoctrinated by!

Ex - I do agree with the scripture. If you know what the bible says, the women are called to instruct and disciple other women in the church and leave the pastorship to the men. Now if you do not agree with that, I am okay with that. Whatever it takes to get people into the local churches to learn God's word to bring all to salvation.
November 19, 2009 at 5:25 p.m.Ex - Your comparison of how the God of this universe dealt with his people, the Israelites, in the time of the Old Testament, with the example Ken gave is really a stretch. God does not make mistakes. He was dealing with a group of people that came out of all kind of paganism and ruthless lifestyles and needed to be dealt with as he saw fit. If you think that the scripture about women not speaking out in church is silly, you again do not trust what God's word has to say as being truth.
Bottom line, it is a poor choice (in God's eye) to go into God's word and pick and choose verses to try to make a point of how wrong the bible is. He no likey us to do that. Trust me. Notice the word "all" in 2 Timothy 3:16.
