What is a denominator? That little line between a fraction is called a denominator. It divides the two numbers from each other. It's the derivation of the word "denomination."

Christians, from the early church to today, are great fence builders! Instead of concentrating on the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for our redemption we concentrate on doctrinal differences.

This makes us look bad! It is a bad witness in front of the world!

I, too, consider the KJV the best version of the bible and I am aware that some other versions have changed the message of the gospel. However, just because this church uses only the KJV is no reason to make book burning a public spectacle!

Early Christians in the Book of the Acts of the Apostles burned demonic literature but there is not one single scripture reference for the burning of contemporary Christian DVDs and CDs. That music praises the Lord and magnifies His Christ.

There are also pastors of churches today that preach against interracial marriage. To the Lord our God there is no race! There was no division of people by skin color and not one shred of scriptural authority for such a ban! In fact, the sister of Moses was stricken with leprosey for her racial prejudice when Moses married a Nubian(black) woman. While the bible tells us not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers, it mentions nothing about a ban from being yoked together with someone of another race. This ban is barbaric and unscriptural.

King James Version Only Pastor and Church to burn Bibles and Christian Books

"The Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Canton, North Carolina plans to burn Bibles and books by Christian authors on Halloween. Pastor Marc Grizzard said that the King James Bible version is the only one his church follows.

Grizzard said that all other versions, such as the Living Bible, are "satanic" and "perversions" of God's word. Grizzard and 14 members of the Church will burn music and books by Billy Graham and Rick Warren and other Christian authors. Grizzard blames these other authors because they have occasionally used Bibles other than the King James Version, and he considers that version to be infallible.

According to the Amazing Grace Baptist Church website, members will also burn "Satan's music such as country, rap, rock, pop, heavy metal, western, soft and easy, southern gospel, contemporary Christian, jazz, soul (and) oldies."

The Cedar City Library in Utah had a mock book burning in 2007 and used misprinted and damaged books to show patrons exactly what a book burning is like. The reaction of the public was emotional and it showed people that no one had the right to tell them what they could and couldn't read."

In these trying and perilous times, of what some of us believe are the end times, Christians need to come together in holiness! There is nothing holy about the actions and teaching of Pastor Grizzard concerning this issue! It makes him look silly in front of the world!

Sadly, there are denominations in this world today that even divide themselves according to whether musical instrument are allow in the sanctuary. Again, there is not one shred of scriptural authority for banning musical instruments in Christian music.

To those who teach that contemporary Christian music and even Southern Gospel are demonic I would refer them to the admonition of Jesus to the Pharisees concerning their ascribing the works of the Holy Spirit to the works of the devil! According to our Savior, that is an unpardonable sin!

The devil comes but to kill, steal and destroy!
