How does one comprehend the graft and corruption?

In light of a deal on capitol hill that gave the ability to buy national health insurance to millions more illegal aliens and the Hispanic caucus announcing support for the health care bill, I thought this story was quite telling of the state of corruption in Washington. This, of course, will add billions to the health care bill THAT HAS NOT BEEN SCORED BY THE CBO!

Thirty-six-year-old Juan Barrera escaped from a Panamanian prison in early 2008 and was arrested by federal authorities in Washington, D.C., this past January.
An escaped murder who entered the United States illegally used a fake Social Security card to obtain federally subsidized housing, the Washington Examiner reports.

The FBI began an around-the-clock investigation of him after an anonymous caller claimed Barrera was planning to fire a rocket launcher at a Metro train.
Authorities said in court documents that authorities concluded that Barrera did not own a rocket launcher and was not planning to attack a Metro train, according to the paper."
As has happened for literally generations, criminal illegal aliens move into established Hispanic neighborhoods where they know the language and can blend in. They then wreak havoc on those neighborhoods. A perfect example of this are those Hispanic neighborhoods in the big cities that have literally been over-run by Mexican and Central American drug gangs.
And yet, Hispanic lawmakers continue to promote yet another round of amnesty and more taxpayer benefits for illegals.
Now, please, allow me to severely annoy the other side of this issue! Whose going to do the work? We Americans have raised literally two generations of children, generally speaking, who feel working with their hands and sweating at a trade or craft, to make a living is a bad thing. I have been in supervision at a local plant during a building phase and we were hiring "anything 18 to 80, blind, crippled or crazy" and no takers. If you could crawl through the gate you got a hardhat and safety glasses and still no takers!
It is this attitude of the American people that has fueled the fires of illegal immigration.
Personally, I found illegal hands to be very hard working, attentive to instruction, didn't miss time, learned quickly, could pass a piss test and well motivated. Many times I'd have to burn the stump and sift the ashes to find an American had with all those qualities.

Illinois representative Luis Gutierrez was a no vote on Obamanation healthcare because it did not provide illegal aliens a chance to buy into the "pool". He suddenly, after a meeting with Obama, switched his vote. He stated that his switch was due to Obama promising to put "immigration reform" to the forefront of attention. There is no doubt Obama promised amnesty to the millions of illegal aliens that have invaded our country. The real wonder here is why Luis Gutierrez believed Obama. It has not escaped many true Americans that the reason this healthcare bill has been debated for over 14 months and that so many democrat votes have been purchased and so many democrats have behaved like whores is because this bill is a whopping pile of poop.
March 21, 2010 at 7:27 a.m.thats what welfare has done to our culture. We now have people who never hold a job and get paid to sit home and watch TV. Supported by fewer and fewer working people who have to pay more and more taxes to keep those welfare checks coming.
