Students at Memorial High School are working to make a difference for Darfur. While hundreds of people are being raped, starved, and murdered; Memorial is raising money to make a difference for this cause. Dollars for Darfur is a national school competition to raise money to help end the genocide in Sudan.

Last year, Laura Campbell along with her classmates, raised $1840 to send to Dollars for Darfur, and now they’re reaching out again with hopes of raising awareness for these horrific crimes. If you or anyone you know would like to donate, please do!
DOLLARS FOR DARFUR

50% of all proceeds go directly for promoting Genocide awareness in the Country and the rest directly to Sudan’s refugees in Africa. Memorial High School is in 4th place amongst 21 other schools. If you would like to make a tax deductable donation, for as little as $20.00, show your support for M.H.S. and make a difference!

  • I picked up the story through an email forward from a friend. If I'm not mistaken, it appears Senior-Laura Campbell would be the one to talk too. She's dedicated hundreds of hours into organizing and directing this event. I bet she could fill the VA in on all the details and bring them up to date about the groups past fundraising endeavors for Darfur
