It has been said that the wisest man who ever lived in America was Ralph Waldo Emerson, the Sage of Concord. Emerson declared, "A man is what he thinks about all day long."

A famous psychologist says, "There is a deep tendency in human nature to become precisely like that which you habitually imagine yourself to be."

It has been said that thoughts are things, that they actually possess dynamic power. You can actually think yourself into or out of situations. You can make yourself ill with your thoughts and by the same token you can make yourself well.

In order to change your circumstance though, you must first, think differently of yourself. You have to form a new picture -of yourself- in your mind. Hold that picture, develop it firmly in all details, believe in it, pray about it, work at it, and you can actualize it according to that mental image emphasized in your mind.

Think one way and you attract the conditions which that type of thinking indicates. Think another way and you can create an entirely different set of conditions. Conditions are created by thoughts far more powerfully than conditions "create" our thoughts. And, this is one of the greatest laws in the Universe.

The Great Law briefly and simply stated is that if you think negative terms you will get negative results. If you think positive terms you will achieve positive results. That is the simple fact which is at the basis of an astonishing law of prosperity and success. In three words: "Believe and Become."

"Think positive and you will set in motion a positive force which brings forth positive change."

  • "you reap what you sow"

Well this is true; but sometimes you reap nothing or worst, exhausted yourself to much, so you end up at a disadvantage to when you started.

Yet, Regardless of what transpired, the farmer labors on each year, why?

    Because he is a farmer.

Like a cactus is a cactus and a rose is a rose. We must be what we are ment to be, nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes we need to change our enviroments to reach our full potential, but first we must be like the farmer. Know thy self, then be who you are, regardless of the circumstance.

  • I agree, the post is true and should be applied everyday, all the time. Of course, that's easier said than done. I've worked at this technique for YEARSSSS and it never fails, I still fall --way-- short of perfection.

    lol

Seriously though, you know what I mean, pray for one thing- convince yourself you believe it- and sure enough, get the opposite.

I don't know if you study the Bible or not but what's written above comes from it. Only difference is, the Great book says: "YOU reap what you sow."

  • I can and will think into existence the destiny of my own choosing and I will do it with every ounce of optimism I have!

Great philosophy! That is concrete transcendance and simple perfection. If life came with instructions your post would be the entire first chapter.
