Last night it was a beautiful night. We went to my brother's house to BBQ in their huge back yard. We could see the stars clearly through the trees. At about 8:30pm, a huge object or some debris fell through the earth's atmosphere. It was moving more slowly than the usual shooting star and was much bigger and brighter. You could even see the fire on the object. It would have been to the left of the moon if you were facing the moon.
I had time to hear people say, "Wow a huge shooting star!" and to think I had missed it. It was still visible when I turned around.
Did anyone else happen to see this?
I guess since I don't know what this object was, it can be called a UFO: an unidentified falling object.
Did anyone hear anything on the news?

March 23, 2008 at 5:15 p.m.My family always gets together the day before Easter too, and we were out in my mother's backyard as well, about the same time, my mother says "Wow, did anyone else see that?" no one else saw it, but she described it at first like a bright light, then kinda joked that it was more like a UFO...who knows???
