We added this verse as sometimes the children would fall asleep on the couch:

 

Get your mouth off the couch!

Just had to share my childhood memories…..

 

At some point this morning I also tried to say something about how "when the nocturnal creatures are sleeping the humans should be awake!" Then I said, "We HOMO SAPIENS are not nocturnal!" There was some protest from the six year old about being called a homo sapien.

 

I guess we are Homo Sapiens Sapiens?
