Anyone going to Rockport Saturday?
I'm heading down to Rockport Saturday, May 23, to do a story on the wine festival going on, and the activities in Rockport in general. At the wine festival, more than 3,000 wine enthusiasts will be there. It also coincides with the Texas Maritime Museum's 20th anniversary. Other activities include food, a silent auction a floor show by the "Rotel and the Hot Tomatoes." Should be a lot of fun. Here's the site: http://www.texasfestivalofwines.com/#
If you're from the Crossroads and are going, please let me know. I'd like to localize the story, and ask you on your thoughts about the festival, Rockport's economy, and what fun stuff you're up to (fishing, skiing, shopping, etc.), while in Rockport.
