  • Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution of the United States of America states that the Peoples' Socialist Republic of Austin can infringe upon and establish laws pertaining to the personal choice of paper versus plastic. It is right there between “To establish Post Offices and post Roads; and To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;”

  • It is great (?) to see that the Peoples' Socialist Republic of Austin is continuing their nanny-state ways, never at a loss for one more area of personal freedom upon which they can infringe. If people will not do what they have been repeatedly told to do, by the great minds of the City Council and their fellow travelers, then just pass a law to MAKE them do it. Vladimir Lenin would be proud.
