Whether multi-million dollar state races or a couple hundred dollars in local elections, the financial report money trail can help voters decide which candidate to support on Election Day.
Candidate's 8-day campaign finance reports are due Tuesday. I'll be at the elections office collecting that data for a story this week.
Until then, check out this interactive graphic by Texas Tribune.

The graphic only includes information from the 30-day report and none of the candidates seeking office in a Victoria district are listed. Elizabeth Ames Jones for Texas Senate was in the lead for contributions, $1.62 million, and expenditures, $1.49 million.
Texans for Joe Straus had the most cash on hand, $4.32 million. Borris Lee Miles had the most loans, $730,000.
