Wouldn't You Know It?

Wouldn’t you know it? I finish ten new songs and my mind still can’t rest. After all these years I should know me better than that. (Yep, I’m laughing at myself right now! It always feels good to be able to do that.)

My mind is buzzing with more stuff today than when I finished the last album’s songs. I wonder if I can pull off the country/blues things I’ve been serenading Glenda with. Ones about blue jeans and another is an ode to love. The latter has a finished lyric already and I might just do it with pure vocal harmonies.

I updated my bio and wrote a press release. I also sent out a few pre-release copies along with some conceptual artwork. The artwork is still being worked out but I think I’m sure of how I want it to look. I’ll be throwing a few tunes at A.O.G. MEDIA for their next release of the Compilation series. Thanks go to Mr. De La O for allowing me to take part in what I know is an awesome set of continuing projects!

All in all 2010 is shaping up very well so far. Some of my long term obligations will expire this year and when they do I will be free to make better use of my time and money in regards to a lot of things.

The most important thing for now is to come up with a Valentine’s Day gift worthy enough for my beautiful muse, Glenda! Hmmmm! Yes! I have an idea!
