Life entices us to take every path. Most of the ones we take are chosen of our own volition. Good, or bad, we take on these endeavors with our own private expectations. Once on our way, the journeys end begins to peak over the horizon. Did we choose well? Only time will tell us.

Some paths are forced upon us by life. These sojourns are usually rife with strong emotion and those feelings are most often negative. Wisdoms to be gained roil into existence like dark storm clouds. Instances all along the way are punctuated with experiences that strike us like lightening. For long periods afterward the facts of what we have gone thru rumble like echoes of thunder.

The many paths of life one can take are all paved with different grades. Some are smooth and even, and offer a soft talc to tread upon. The other end of the extreme offers rocky, broken, jagged, and mogul terrain. True wisdom and maybe even a bit of lucky ignorance will afford you the best road to travel at the right time in life. Be sure to banish the word ‘easy’ from your vocabulary.

Whatever roads you end up taking in your life, one thing is guaranteed. Every step you take, either subdued or treacherous, will kick up a cloud of memories of that moment that will assuredly precipitate daydreams. Whether you have an imagination or not you will reach your next footfall with a memory of the step before it. In every step along every road of everyone’s life, there are muses.
