• DEVON: Don't let up on the sunscreen and warning about wearing all the clothing to cover up every possible square inch of skin. Coming from a family of outdoor workers that have experienced skin cancers makes me a bit goosey about finding any more on my person. An Albuquerque dermatologist loaned me a series of his clinic photos of various stages of skin cancers taken during surgery. They accompanied a feature warning about that subject for a national fishing magazine. Some "ultra sensitive" (fruitloop maybe?) editor rejected them "because they were too gross." The object of the assignment, to me, was to scare anglers into avoiding all unnecessary sun exposure. Anglers get double doses of rays due the sun's reflection off the water.
