When does it end?

The steady rise of EVERYTHING going up in price, especially gas, really has me wondering where are we headed? My income does not keep up with these prices. I use my credit card more and more it seems (sorry Dave!). I used to use it just for emergencies like dental work, etc. Now I am using it because I cannot make ends meet from month to month. I keep promising my son a real vacation one of these summers, but each year the dream gets farther and farther out of reach. Something has to give...what if we didn't purchase gas for one entire day? Would that do more harm than good? Someone has to have the solution, but what?
