I heard on the news this morning that, in some areas, pregnant women may be allowed a handicap sticker in order to park closer to the entrance. I have mixed feelings about this idea. If you are having a problem pregnancy in where walking is potentially harmful, then I would support this, but, if being pregnant was the only reason, then, no. I purposefully park away from the entrance since I still have the ability to walk. It's great exercise. Also, it seems that the closer I park to the entrance the more my vehicle gets hit with other car doors. Then there are people leaving their carts instead of putting them away, but that is another story.
