Hey guys,

I'm revamping my blog just a little. Instead of focusing on arts and crafts like I have in the past, now I'm planning to dig into business and agriculture since, well, that's what I do at work.

I'm open to suggestions if anyone has a question or topic they'd like me to look into. In the meantime, however, I'm looking for a little help from you.

Next week I'll be working on a business feature about interesting business cards. If you think about it, that card really says a lot about the business itself and the image its owners want to portray to the public.

I have a couple of cards that have already caught my eye. Agama Advertising, for instance, boasts cards that are long and skinny, rather than the typical size.

Miller Appliance Inc. has a card that's almost like a hologram, changing to different colors of the rainbow, depending which way you turn it. The business' owners told me they always try to have some kind of interesting design and they have customers who have collected their cards for 20 years.

Anyway, you get the picture. I'll be doing my own digging, but it never hurts to ask you guys, who are out in the community just as much - if not more - than I am.

Feel free to respond to this blog, e-mail me at amiles@vicad.com or call my office line at 361-580-6511. Thanks!
