Years ago, I had taken my vehicle to a local car wash and waited inside while it was it was getting its "much needed" detail look. Upon completion of the washing I was informed that the vehicle was ready to leave for another venture of "hitting" the road.
We ( or at least I did)jumped into the car and "away" I went. Since they had the keys in the ignition, I didnt look at my keys until a few blocks away and "boom" the clicker had been removed. I turned around as if I were on a "dime" of space and returned. I was informed that the clicker had come off and they had found it..Now anyone knows that its not easy just to put a key on a key ring. It almost takes a "bull dozer" and the strength of "Superman" or in my case...."Superwoman" to get the extremely heavy thick ring to even "budge". Can anyone "enlighten" me as to how the "clicker" came off? No it was cracked and the clicker was in perfect condition as it was almost brand new.
I might suggest that if you get your car detailed...ALWAYS...check that the clicker is on and never leave an extra set of keys in the console for whatever reason you might.
I guess my clicker had eaten its" wheatie" that day and managed to "wiggy" itself off the metal key ring.
