  • There goes that collective “WE” as if they are the selective spokesman for the forum or the 20% that think the public option is a bad idea … Of course being wrong, or, on the wrong side of the issue never enters their mind… Never, never, never.

    Sure in this county, this state, the numbers would be reversed, fortunately we have 50 states.

  • What a broken record, somebody bump the record player it's stuck on one track. A public health system will become a universal health care system. The government controlled health insurance is going to "cram down" the cost it will pay doctors and hospitals. They in turn will try to recoup these costs by charging the private companies more. The private companies will not be able to compete - they will go out of business.

    Secondly if public health care is going to reduce cost then why are the Medicare and Mediaid costs increasing at 8% per year in Obama's budget. The costs in fact will not go down they will be going up. What is paid now in insurance premiums may go down but government spending and taxes will go way up. Do you think we are that stupid or is it you - you just don't seem to get it?
