And the fallout over singer Chris Brown allegedly beating up girlfriend Rihanna continues.

If you haven't heard yet, Brown was arrested and charged with making criminal threats after an alleged altercation that resulted in Rihanna sustaining serious injuries to her face on Sunday in Los Angeles.

MTV did an article about the backlash Chris Brown is receiving over the whole issue, with radio stations pulling his songs off the air and companies dumping him as their spokesperson.

But it wasn't the article that got my attention. It was the comments that posters were leaving on the article that made me want to pull my hair out. For example:

Northphillymame wrote "people needs to stop judging chris brown he's a good person some time us girls provok our man to do things out of anger i've been in a relationship for 14 years now and i have provok my man to do the same thing i provok it to happen he did it out of anger that those mean that he was a bad guy he said sorry to me."

Reesy wrote "i feel bad for him because even if this isn't true then he'll always have this on his back. i seen some scandelous women in my day so i'm fifty on the whole situation."

And Nathaly wrote: "Mistakes are there to be maid. Both of them will lurn life is not that simple as it may seem...Rihanna knows she is stukeup and jealouse."

Yes, it's true we don't know the whole story yet, he's innocent until proven guilty, but seriously? This is how the youth of America reacts when it comes to the issue of domestic violence? The girl had it coming? Poor abuser can't catch a break?

It makes me sad to think that the cycle of domestic violence will never be broken as long as young girls out there think there is any situation in which it's okay for a them to be hit. This mentality going on among some die-hard Chris Brown fans is just shocking to me.

Any other thoughts out there over this?
