You know it's going to be a good Monday when the breaking news of the day includes a pseudo-celebrity getting allegedly beat up by a real celebrity and the world finds out about it on Twitter.

Yes, today in bizarro news, much criticized celebrity blogger Perez Hilton broke the news he was assaulted by Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas...on Twitter, according to this FOX News story.

Yes, in only 140 characters or less, Hilton broadcast he was bleeding and needed police Sunday night. I guess 911 calls are so 2000 and late.

Following his first tweet of "I was assaulted by Will.i.am...No joke," Hilton followed up with:

"Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel."

"I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the police. Need them here."

"The Toronto police are here now. Thank you. Please stop calling them."

But the fun doesn't stop there, kids. Already, Will.i.am has posted a video response to Hilton's Twitter claims (I guess press releases and rep comments are so out as well) telling his side of the story (which includes Fergialious acting like a junior high messenger). According to the musician, Hilton was being rude and started calling him names, which is what led to the Boom, Boom, Pow scuffle later that night.

But wait! There's more! Then an "extremely emotional" Hilton responded to Will.i.am's response with something along the lines of "You know what you did, you big, mean, meanie you."

And then in another fun twist, supposedly the Peas' manager, Polo Molina, is the one who actually turned himself into the po-po for the assault.

Ah, technology. Improving the way celebrity feuds are ate up by the public since 1987.
