You know it's a good vacation where you catch yourself saying "This is the coolest thing I've ever done" several times in one day.

And that pretty much sums up my two weeks in New Zealand. Alas, vacations always must come to an end and I am now back in the office (and LOVIN' IT, for any editors who might be reading this).

But at least I still have my memories. There was the time I took a cruise of Milford Sound, one of the most awesome sights in the world. The five (count 'em FIVE) Lord of the Rings locations I got to explore. At one place, I got to drink wine and feed deer at the same time (finally, someone came up with a way to connect with nature while getting drunk). I hiked a mountain, watched my fiance bungy jump and even went paragliding myself (more detail on that in my column that runs tomorrow, FYI).

And I took no less than 1,500 photos of the whole thing. Some are running tomorrow with my column, but here are a few more for your viewing pleasure. The great thing about New Zealand? You can be the world's worst photographer and still come out with photos like these.
