If you happened to miss the award-winning online musical "Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog" by Buffy mastermind Joss Whedon, 1. I highly suggest you check it out below, and 2. watch it before Nov. 18.
What happens on Nov. 18, you say? Well, that just happens to be the day the prequel comic book about Dr. Horrible is released by Dark Horse.
"Written by Zack Whedon (who co-wrote the 'Dr. Horrible' musical with brothers Joss and Jed and Jed's wife, Maurissa Tancharoen), the one-shot 'Dr. Horrible' comic tells the tale of Dr. Horrible and Captain Hammer's first encounter," according to MTV.com.

My fellow nerds and Whedon-verse geeks, it's time to rejoice! And in honor of this momentous occasion, I will leave you with these lyrics:
Bad Horse Bad Horse Bad Horse Bad Horse
He rides across the nation The thoroughbred of sin He got the application You just sent in
It needs evaluation So let the games begin A heinous crime, a show of force A murder would be nice of course
Bad Horse Bad Horse Bad Horse He’s Bad
(Heh, try getting that out of your head now).

Thanks, I enjoyed the story. But as many know, I am a sucker for comics.
November 14, 2009 at 11:11 p.m.This is a hoot. Thanks for the tip, Aprill. I had no idea Joss Whedon was doing this.

November 9, 2009 at 3 p.m.I think to be a well-informed reporter, not only should you watch it but it is part of your job duty to watch it. :)
November 9, 2009 at 2:18 p.m.Love! Since Dr. Horrible is on your blog, can I watch it at work?
November 9, 2009 at 1:57 p.m.Coolness. A friend turned my on to Dr. Horrible after I mentioned what a fan of The Guild I was.
Wondering how a musical will translate to a comic. Hmmmm
November 9, 2009 at 1:24 p.m.I rented the DVD from Netflix as I SO love Felicia Day. This series is so well written, acted, and musically composed (if that is even a real term).
