Don't have a cow, man, but America's most beloved blue-haired mother is baring it all and showing the world what the good Animator gave her.

Yes, Marge Simpson is on the cover of Playboy in honor of the 20th anniversary of "The Simpsons." Doi!

According to the AP, this is the first time the magazine has featured a cartoon on its cover and they're giving 'ol Marge the royal treatment. Inside, she's got a data sheet, an interview and a 2-page centerfold. And, of course, some apparently racy photos.

Sadly, the magazine isn't letting it slip whether or not Marge shows all her ink. But according to editorial director, James Jellinek, Marge, fully nude or not, is still "a stunning example of the cartoon form."

...(I'll pause here to let you reflect on that last statement)...

And to think she's had three kids. So yeah, take that Jessica Rabbit.

The edition hits the stands this Friday.

Aye Carumba!

  • I think it's an excellent marketing ploy that might work well for both parties involved.
I think its great entertainment. Tastefully done!

  • There was a throw away line in last night's episode where Moe refers to Marge as a "Mother I'd like to be friends with. "(MILF) and I thought to myself: PRODUCT PLACEMENT.

Seems like Playboy has lost over a million subscribers since 2006 and Viagra is not getting any cheaper (and Hef is not using any less of it) so what's a boy to do?

Given the ready availability of internet porn Playboy seems a quaint and old fashioned artifact. A cartoon "lady" on the cover seems appropriate.

  • Oh, really? Is Marge wearing staples, too?

  • Well, all the rest of them are fake. Or at least part of them, including some brains.
    Airbrushed.

    Why not.
