Area athletes win more medals at the state track and field meet in Austin. Industrial's Tre Flowers won a bronze medal in the boys Class 2A triple jump to add to his silver in the long jump. Refugio's Tomas Canchola won a silver medal in the boys Class 2A shot put. Karnes City's Briittany Kinney won a bronze medal in the girls Class 2A triple jump. Woodsboro's Megan Carter won a bronze medal in the girls Class 1A discus.
