UHV's season ends with loss to St. Gregory's

St. Gregory's Sharon Bell struck out 15 University of Houston-Victoria hitters in a 1-0 win for the Cavaliers on Saturday at the NAIA National Softball Tournament.

UHV's Brittany Faas had the Jaguars' only hit, a double in the fifth. Tasha Rotramel took the loss for the University of Houston-Victoria, pitching a complete game and only allowing five hits from the Shawnee, Okla. college.

The loss ends UHV's season with a 35-12 record, while St. Gregory's advances out of Pool G play with a 3-0 record.
