The languid rays of the moonlight carried us down the shore,
Following our every curious move forward.
The luminescence bounced from ripple to ripple,
The bay awash with muted light from the galaxy above.
We seemed connected to the orb who mirrors its daylight foe
By a single line flowing into the wavy horizon and out of sight.
After beginning to study poetry this semester, I am realizing just how inconsequential my poetry really is...Nonetheless, I wanted to put it out there for readers' entertainment, critiques, and whatnot. Enjoy.
