Sunday, I was suppose to (and I stress the suppose to) run 8 miles. I ran about 6. A week with total mileage suppose to be 22, I ran 18. My mileage staying the same as the week before. Why?

My legs felt heavy. My mind wanted me to stop. So I listened. I couldn't overcome the both of them. Not at that moment.

It's an issue that I've been dealing with in the past week. My mind hasn't wanted to run. It's burned out. It craves the running life of no schedule. It wants to run on a Wednesday or Saturday not a Tuesday or Sunday.

And this ... event has me rethinking my half next month. If I'm not fully motivated should I run it? Or should I run it and take a month or two off after it?

Valid questions. And questions I'm still torn on.

For now I'll continue training.
