Yep. It was definitely cold this morning.
The temperature dipped to a chilly 36 degrees about sunrise. That ties the record low for the date set in 1957 and it’s 22 degrees below the normal low for this time of year.
I didn’t see any frost today. I’m guessing that’s because there was so little moisture in the air that there was no dew to freeze.
Anyone have a lower temperature reading or see any frost?

It's about friggin' time! Life here becomes intolerable from April to October, so when it actually becomes cool enough for me to put on a sweater, I feel like I've emerged from a sweaty cocoon. Now let's put a layer of snow on this.

I do wish we would get rain, but on the flip side, do you realize how many people would give their eye teeth for the weather we are having? I think it got down to 38 this morning in the Yoakum area, and the dew point was 29! Now that there is some brisk air! Just lovely!
