If you’ve got outdoor plans for Easter, keep an eye on the weather.

A potent storm system is forecast by the National Weather Service to cross Texas Sunday, bringing the threat of severe weather.

The storm appears more impressive with each daily computer model update. A cold front and the low pressure could cause a line of thunderstorms to form and sweep across the area. Some storms could be severe, with large hail, strong winds and possibly tornadoes.

To track future severe storm forecasts, go to the Storm Prediction Center Web site at http://www.spc.noaa.gov/.

  • Thanks for the heads up. We have a big Easter egg hunt planned in your area for the great grand nieces and nephews. Thank goodness my sister's house is large enough for an indoor version. Once again coolgranny will make them do the bunny hop for the camera. They always gripe and they always dance.
