It looks like we’ve got a decent shot of getting some rain Tuesday night.
Unfortunately, there’s also a slight chance of severe weather when the cold front blows in, probably after midnight.
It looks like the biggest threat will be 55 mph plus winds. There are lesser chances of hail and tornadoes.
While there’s a 40-percent chance of rain, it will likely be less than 0.25 inches. It won’t take long for that to dry out.

I will welcome this small blessing, it has not rained at my house since before Thanksgiving. This drought should be a warning to all Texans that we are desperate for construction of numerous reservoirs and lakes. I contend that we are better off with the construction of numerous , than just a few major projects. Smaller reservoirs and lakes will mean lower cost of pipe and the rainfall would be used more locally.
