Image    I guess it had to happen sooner or later.
Two satellites crashed in space over northern Siberia on Tuesday. One was an Iridium communications satellite and the other a defunct Russian satellite.
Initial reports were that the collision created a field of debris that included 600 pieces. Those could pose danger to other satellites.
I guess we need air traffic controllers in space now.
