The National Hurricane Center has issued the last advisory on the system over the central Bahamas.
It’s being absorbed by non-tropical low pressure over Florida and development of the tropical system appears unlikely. This merged system is still forecast to move into the Gulf of Mexico.
Some computer models are hinting that a band of moisture from the merged system will affect the Crossroads area on Thursday and Friday.
But the National Weather Service is relying on other models and maintaining a dry forecast for now.
