How silly is this. Congress calls oil executives before them to demand oil price's come down or they will act.

 

Let's see. Congress has not allowed oil companies to drill for OUR OWN OIL for years now in areas that have reserves, ANWAR, on the continental shelf of the East Coast, West Coast and Gulf Coast (where China will be drilling), has shut down drilling locations, will not allow refineries to be built, taken areas out of access to coal, hampered coal to gas development, delayed wind farm development, threatened to super tax oil companies profits they use to do RESEARCH FOR ALTERNATIVE ENERGY and SAFER DRILLING,......... Cannot figure out why we can't get enough oil and gasoline in the pipeline. Then they threaten to sue OPEC,....WOW. Have they been paying attention to things lately?

 

Why have not the water bottling companies been called before Congress? Much higher pricing.

 

Two years ago House leader Pelosi said the new Democrat lead majority Congress had a plan to reduce gas prices.  Have not heard what it is and it definitely has not been implemented cause gas prices continue to climb. So much for the NEW majority leadership. By the looks of the recent Iraq (with hidden agenda) funding bill and the new farm (get rich quick) bill leadership by the new majority is just business as usual.
