Well, you might have figured if anyone would do this he would.

Since its inception 56 years ago, every president has made an appearance at the Salute to Heroes Ball. The event is hosted by The American Legion, Paralyzed Veterans of America and The Military Order of Purple Hearts. It recognizes those who served and serve. It was attended by the 48 of the nation's last living 99 Medal of Honor recipients. This is the 50th anniversary of the Medal of Honor Society.

Well, every president during the balls history has made an appearance except Barack Hussein Obama, PBHO. While our military is fighting and dying on the field doing service for us....and him...he makes sure he attends all the "Politically Correct  In Vogue" balls instead. The military is definitely not "In Vogue" for the next 4 years anyway.

It is "In Vogue" to make sure you have an intentional tax cheat become head of collecting taxes. But what else do you expect from a Chicagoan politician?

  • BIGJ,
Your immaturity shows again. Your reply has gravity.
I was NOT speaking of the Commander in Chief's ball. The topic and subject of my blog post was the Salute to Heroes Ball, which the new commander in chief DID NOT go to. As the new commander in chief it seems it would be respectful to honor purple heart winners, medal of honor winners, you know things like that. Not a bunch of suck a$$ generals and other officers.
Please take your bias and bigotry back to the play ground. Then go back to the class room and learn to read what a writing's subject is.

  • Pyth,
I'm with you. How do we start a new party? Grassroots movement? The People's Party? The Federalist Party? The States Rights Party?
Just a few of the names I've considered.

  • Tip of the ice berg.  This presidency is different, but still the same.

  • Gentlemen,
I truly believe its time for a new party. One that takes the best of both and adds common sense and values. I haven't figued out what to call it nor have I figured out the details but is certainly time.
These two parties HAVE lost their way. In politics, when you figure out that you can vote yourself benefits and loose site of the true purpose of public service...you have most certainly lost your way.

  • John,
I agree somewhat with what you say.
Having been a Dem then a Rep, both party's mainstream seem to have lost their way.
Hopefully the Blue Dog Democrats and True Conservative Republicans can work together to fix the unreasonable radicals that have taken over our country's politics, and vocal minorities of society.

  • It is pathetic but not unexpected. Not only because he is a democrat, but also because he seems to be following a lot of the steps of the Clintons. Pythagoras, there is nothing democratic about the democrats.

  • You are gentlemen after my own heart.
This is something he should not have missed under any circumstances but then that's the Democratic way.

  • But their objections are now null and void, impotent if you catch my drift.
That's how he was installed, he wanted it and he used it. I am only repeating what HE said.

  • Careful Sandwich...There are those who object mightily if you use the president's name.  They think you're some kind of racist if you use his name.
