Image The left are crying foul, how dare a person contradict the almighty in his moment of glory. The person said "You lie", which according to the currently debated bill was correct. The health care bill most talked about.

Like he was the only president EVER contradicted while he was giving a speech to the congress. Demanded an apology. Got it and is still crying. Nancy calls the CIA liars,...Hillary and others call General Petraus a liar BEFORE his report ever came out.

But these same ones that cry because their Pres was interrupted had not problem with interrupting GW in 2004 and 2005. Plus the continual "liar" thrown at GW by PMSNBC and the other Obama networks.

From Politico...

"In 2004, Democrats delivered a “Chorus Of Boos” during Bush's Bush’s State Of The Union when he called for renewal of the Patriot Act., according to the Washington Times.

In 2005, Dems howled, hissed and shouted "No!" when Bush pushed for Social Security reform in the SOU: "Foreshadowing the contentiousness of the coming debate, Democrats broke decorum and booed twice," according to the National Journal.

At the time, CNN's Bill Schneider remarked, “It was unusual. I had never heard it at least at that level before. The Democrats clearly were booing, heckling, saying no when the president talked about the crisis in Social Security.""

So, what's the problem? Oh, it's against THEIR person. It's okay for them but not for you. Kind of like the health care bill isn't it?

  • "which according to the currently debated bill was correct"

    well, not quite

"HR 3200 SEC. 246. NO FEDERAL PAYMENT FOR UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS: Nothing in this subtitle shall allow Federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States."

I can see how that could be confusing, but the real issue is how to enforce it.

I do not believe that anyone should heckle the President (whomever that maybe), it is rude, classless and just uncalled for. That being said I will agree that it does not deserve this much attention. But Democrats are far from being the first of being guilty of overacting. I do remember Republicans sharpening their pitchforks when the Dixie Chic's spoke their mind, in another country no less.

I am not here to contribute to the bashing. I simply want people, regardless of party lines, to listen and think objectively. Stop being sheeple, stop assuming that everyone who does not agree with you is evil, out to ruin life and take your rights away. Seriously, I am not asking people to blindly following an ideology they do not agree with, just to listen OBJECTIVELY and FACT CHECK!

  • " So where is YOUR call to censor those in the 2004 2005 Congress?" How do you know I didn't? I find conduct like that abominable. And the GOP-controlled congress should have censured them if they yelled "Liar" at the president, any president.

As far as money goes, are you also complaining about how much WE ALL are spending or losing from other programs like money for education to support the current healthcare situation which is enriching insurance company CEOs? What do YOU want in health care reform. Anything?

I'm already paying for health insurance that goes up every year and covers less and less. I'd be fine with some medical tort reform, but we've had that here in Texas and it hasn't stopped our medical costs and premiums from increasing.

Wilson is getting beaten up pretty hard by his fellow Repubs. Maybe he'd had too much to drink before the speech. He looks a little hung over today. Or maybe he's upset that his opponent for his seat raised so much money today.

  • Did you miss something as you sipped the Koolaid? Did you watch the video or read the report or are you just spilling the MoveON demand.

The DEMS did this WAY in advance. So where is YOUR call to censor those in the 2004 2005 Congress?Typical progressiveness. It's okay for them to do it or even start it but when they get it back, wha wha.

If they cannot take it, don't start it.

So, tell me how much of my money do you think you or anyone else DESERVES from me everyday or year? Give me a number. How much of MY MONEY do YOU/THEM deserve?

He was saying the illegal aliens will get our money, which the bill does not stop from doing? So,,,who is lying?

    Quanto Dinero.........

  • Here are the rules the Republicans wrote for themselves:
    http://rules-republicans.house.gov/Ed...

A Member should avoid impugning the motives of another Member, the Senate or the President, using offensive language, or uttering words that are otherwise deemed unparliamentary. These actions are strictly against House Rules and are subject to a demand that the words be taken down. A demand that the Member’s words be taken down results in the clerk reporting the words and the chair ruling on the propriety of the words. (If the demand is made in the Committee of the Whole, the Committee rises and reports them to the House where the Chair rules on their propriety). SNIP

    Categories of Unparliamentary Speech
    Defaming or degrading the House
Criticism of the Speaker’s personal conduct
Impugning the motives of another Member
    Charging falsehood or deception
Claiming lack of intelligence or knowledge
References to race, creed, or prejudice
Charges related to loyalty or patriotism

    SNIP

The dude needs to be censured.

Someone needs to remind Representative Wilson that he and his family currently have a public option for their health insurance. Be sure he understands that the next time his doctor has a finger up his butt, all of us taxpayers footed the bill.
