Keynote speaker Bill Millet.

Mr. Millet is a native of Dallas, but grew up in the Latin American countries of Costa Rica, Guatemala and Mexico. While living in Puebla, Mexico, Bill was exposed to and participated in precolumbian archeological discoveries being made in Cholula, a major center of Aztec worship before the Conquistador era. That sparked an interest in history that continues to this day. Bill Millet's professional career began in the Country Music business as a Musician on the Grand Ole Opry, and Producer for major record labels and artists that included national releases by Vince Gill, Brooks & Dunn, Tanya Tucker, Hank Thompson, Lyle Lovett, Flaco Jimenez and many others. His work with Tejano artists revived Millet's relationship with Latino organizations that included producing events and television programs for NCLR, National Hispanic Media Coalition, Latino International Book Festival, Weekend to Wipe Out Cancer with Gloria Estefan, and the Latin Jazz & Food Festival with Tito Puente and Celia Cruz, and many others.
